Get started on devnet
NexTick runs on Solana's test network. Everything here is free test money: set up once, then call BTC up or down every 5 minutes.
Setup
- 1
Connect a wallet on devnet
Install Phantom (or Solflare). In Phantom: Settings → Developer settings → turn on Testnet mode and pick Solana Devnet. Then connect it here.
- 2
Get free test funds
One click sends 100 test USDC to your wallet, plus a little SOL for transaction fees if you're low. It's test money with no value. You can top up again once you're under 50 USDC.
Short of SOL? The Solana faucet gives devnet SOL too.
- 3
Deposit into NexTick
Move USDC into your NexTick balance once (one wallet approval). After that every call is instant, and you can withdraw any time.
- 4
Make your first call
On the predict page, pick UP or DOWN for the next round. You win if BTC ends the round above (UP) or below (DOWN) its locked price. Winnings land in your balance automatically.

How a round works
- Before it starts: call UP or DOWN. Betting closes 3 seconds before the start.
- At the start: BTC's price is recorded on-chain from Pyth: the locked price.
- 5 minutes later: higher than the locked price → UP wins; lower → DOWN wins.
- Payout: winners split the losing side's calls (minus 3%). If one side had no calls, or the price didn't move, everyone is refunded.
